Serbian language course for foreigners is designed as a special and professionally adapted course for each individual who wants to start or continue their professional career or private life in the Serbian-speaking area.

The aim of this course is for students to master the communication basics in everyday situations, to form communication habits, and to communicate in the Serbian language independently and with ease.

Course content: mastering phonetic specificities of the Serbian language using both scripts (Cyrillic and Latin), theoretical understanding of grammatical and spelling norms of standard Serbian language and their practical application through specially designed conversational thematic units and basic lexical fund formation.

The course is adapted for people who do not have any previous knowledge of  the Serbian language. Student’s book and workbook are free.

Classes are taught in Russian and Serbian.

The lecturer is a professor of  Russian and Serbian language and literature with years of experience in school education and course teaching with foreigners.

 Teaching methods: group and individual coursework. You can choose between a course in a classroom or an online course (via Zoom or Google Meet)

Course duration:

  • group course lasts 4 months; Classes are held twice a week for 90 minutes each (2 school classes) in the evening.
  • one-to-one classes include 50 school classes- 45 minutes each (25 hours); schedule is performed in accordance with the lecturer.

We work in small groups of 5 to 9 students.
